Hi Spencer,

me again :-)

Last year, I had troubles with your plugin, and this year, too.

The Domain is a new one, I use Wordpress 3 multiblog, downloaded your plugin from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rssphoto/, activated it.

In the widgets I put rssphoto-widget in sidebar: this has no effect, neither on my own theme, nor on the standard theme "TwentyTen": you see no widget, even no widget heading.

The shortcode in a page shows also nothing.

The debug code is:

***********************

images; setting status to -1
RSSPhoto v0.8 debug output END
-->

*******************

I have remained all settings that come from you and I have not put an own feed inside the widget, just yours for testing:

http://photography.spencerkellis.net/atom.php

Nothing is showing.

Isn't it really not compatible with Wordpress?

I don't know much about PHP, but reading in your files, there is something about timthumb. And my old theme is not working anymore in WP 3.0 because of an "old use" of timthumb.
Perhaps this is a reason, that your plugin shows nothing?

Thanks for any help.

Oh, the debug code is not shown here completely. Take a look at here for the complete code:

Hi Adrian,

If you view the HTML source of that page, there should be more information before the text you copied that may indicate the actual error. I'll send you an e-mail - sometimes it's easier to debug by e-mail than through a comment system.

Thanks,
Spencer

Hi Spencer,
I recently tried to your plugin with a RSS Feed to show my MobileMe galleries. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I use SimplePie to debug the whole thing and get the following message for every image in the gallery:

images; setting status to -1
RSSPhoto v0.8 debug output END
-->

Any Idea what this is about?

Thanks

There is something bugging me though. There is no padding below the image. The image hits the bottom of the sidebox and If I allow the feed product titles to show (preferred), the image drops below the bottom of the sidebox. Meaning, the sidebox doesn't expand with the image.

As luck would have it I just got it fixed! Yayyy I'm happy to have my rssphoto feed back! The problem wasn't with my feed url after all. The problem turned out to be in a different file which in turn affected my rss feed in my zencart. That's why rssphoto couldn't pick up the feed. Thanks for being there to offer a hand.

hi mary,

sorry it took me a few days to get back to you!

that URL you posted seems to point to a website that doesn't contain any information. can you tell me the address of the website that has the feed? i could look for the right feed.

i assume you're using the widget in Wordpress and if so, you don't have to wrap the link in any code.
